On March 20, 2021, INS Energy Technology Co., Ltd cooperated with Goodwe to organize the Workshop "Storage System - The Next Step of Solar Power".

With the desire to further develop the solar system in general and the solar system with storage in particular in Vietnam, on the morning of March 20, 2021, INS Energy Technology Co., Ltd. cooperated with Goodwe to organize the Workshop "Storage System - The Next Step of Solar Power" with the attendance of more than 60 individuals, organizations and many viewers through live stream broadcast.

Vietnam is a country rich in renewable energy sources such as hydroelectricity, wind power, solar power, etc. With year-round sunshine, our country's potential for solar power is huge; this is a great resource in the process of sustainable development of solar power projects.

Solar power is a type of power source with many advantages, such as it does not take up land because solar power is installed on the roof, the locations have been built and used for other purposes; Solar power helps to increase effective heat resistance for existing projects, solar power is small-scale and distributed, so it should be connected to the existing low- and medium-voltage power grids, no need to invest in additional expensive transmission grid system; Solar power is installed on rooftops in the city, in industrial parks, so it has the effect of reducing the overload of the transmission grid from traditional power sources, which are often located far away from high-density population area.

Solar power is being encouraged to develop. Since 2017, the Prime Minister has issued Decision No. 11/2017/QD-TTg on the mechanism to encourage the development of solar power projects in Vietnam, including the feed-in tariff of electricity from solar power plants at 9.35 US cents/kWh. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has promulgated regulations on project development and the Model Power Purchase Agreement applicable to solar power projects with contents to encourage and guide the power purchaser (power units under EVN). ) and the electricity seller shall make a power purchase and sale contract on the basis of the Model Contract issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

However, by the time after July 1, 2019, the mechanism for selling electricity from solar power projects has expired and solar power projects have time to connect to the grid from July 1 2019 to now, the EVN side (the electricity buyer) and the investor are signing a temporary record, recording output to wait for the contract signing instructions of the related state authorities.

In the situation that there is no policy for EVN's units to buy back the amount of electricity produced from solar power, a storage solar power system is a reasonable choice for a solar system in Vietnam.
