More than just an energy-saving solution, the project exemplifies a flexible design approach &#8211; balancing functionality, aesthetics, and safety &#8211; tailored to the architectural characteristics of an urban educational environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Project Overview: Medium Scale, Optimal Efficiency<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rooftop solar system at SIU has a total designed capacity of 28.32 kWp and is installed over an area of approximately 150 m\u00b2 on the building\u2019s rooftop. To resolve this, INS Energy designed a foundation system using concrete pedestals, which were connected to the PV mounting frame via steel box columns and anchor bolts &#8211; ensuring structural stability without compromising the original structure. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frame height must not exceed the existing parapet wall: This requirement was intended to preserve the architectural integrity of the building. The design team utilized the specialized PVS software to precisely calculate the tilt angles and installation positions, thereby optimizing power generation efficiency while strictly adhering to the permissible height limitations. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All wiring systems must be concealed: To maintain a clean and aesthetic appearance, all alternating current (AC) cables, grounding wires, and signal cables running from the rooftop to the electrical cabinet on the ground floor were required to be concealed.
